About the Role:

Ushur is looking for a motivated, passionate, GRC Solution Architect. The GRC Solution
Architect will be responsible for the overall security of our customer’s data. This can
manifest in various forms including our customer’s data (which can be their business and
their own customers data), processes to ensure that protection, compliance & certifications
that will be necessary in an ongoing manner, to acquire new certifications & compliances, to
initiate & support ongoing audits, to mention a few.

As a part of the information security office at Ushur your guidance will be necessary at
various phases of the customer acquisition & retain journeys. You will collaborate across
various teams and offer support & guidance to product management, customer success &
support, system architects, engineering development, quality assurance teams.

Job Responsibilities:
 Articulate & represent Ushur in any forum in regards to the overall security &
compliance posture
 Work with external security & related disciplines consultants and will be a part of
developing the security mindset of our teams
 Support & nurture regulations such as CCPA, GDPR, HIPAA, HITRUST, etc.
 Ensure our compliance with the regulatory & legal requirements. This is a broad role
focusing both on the product & our corporate security hygiene
 Subject matter expert when it comes to security & GRC practices
 Continuous alignment and improvement of the GRC processes with various
stakeholders, leveraging existing GRC tools in place, finding out what more is
required to support our business processes and keep working around overall security
governance, risk management, and various audits all year around
Requirements

 3-5 years hands-on experience in information security

 A bachelor’s degree preferred
 Hands-on experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP and any other -
knowledge of AWS is a major plus)
 Highly proficient with GRC frameworks under ISO & NIST
 Professional certifications around CISSP, CRISC, SANS SEC, FAIR or related other
 Strong technical background
 Experience presenting to Senior Business Leaders
 Strong work ethic and high degree of accountability
 A good grasp of where the industry is and where it is trending in regards to
cybersecurity & GRC in general
 Must be familiar with various data handling strategies, including masking & de-
identification
