THE BOAT IS SINKING

GROUP 1

Narrator: A boat with seven passengers (including the boat man )is bound to El nido,
Palawan. In the middle of the last ocean, the boat man announced that the boat was
overloaded and that one must have the boat otherwise it will sink, and more lives will
be sacrificed.

Boatman: Ma’am/ sir we have a big problem our boat can’t reach our destination
because our boat sinking due to overload.

Narrator Passenger are panicking because of what they heard.

The doctor ask to the boatman what are they going to do?

Doctor: In that case what are we going to do now?(the tone of her voice is scared)

Boatman: We need to sacrifice or remove one of you, who want to volunteer?

Narrator: one by one defend their self so that they can stay on the boat. The doctor
said:
Doctor: I should not be the one who will going to sacrifice or remove here, Our
country needs me today after all I save a lot of people and now that Covid 19 virus are
around our world Doctor are the one who will help the affected person.So It should
not be me.

Beauty Queen:I’m a beauty queen, I am the one who will represent our country to the
2023 Miss Universe pageant in Australia. I have a chance to win the crown so that
Filipino be proud of that Philippines won the Miss Universe 2023. So you should not
kick me here because I need to get back the crown for our country.

Old Woman: I’m old but I don’t want to die just like this, I want to die in my home
and see my children before I die. So please don’t kick me here. I badly wants to see
all of my children.

Genius: I’m young, and intelligent person in that case you should not going to remove
me here because I have a lot of things to do for the future of country. I will make our
country to be high tech in any aspects.

Father: I’m poor but my child needs me. My wife died because of heart attack in that
I’m the one who are taking care of my child who are just 5 years old. My child are
waiting for me to go back home. So please don’t kick me here my child badly needs
me. I’m not ready to die.

Best friend: I save a life a by donating my kidney. So please it should not be me. I
don’t yet enjoy my life.I have a lot of things to do for my family and friends.

Narrator: None of them wanted to make a sacrifice so the father decided that he will
sacrifice his self but before he jump on the ocean, he ask a favor to the Doctor saying
that…
Father: I’m a poor father I don’t have a decent work but you, you have a decent work
so I begging you Doc. Adopt my child, I know that you have a good heart. (Facing the
Doctor) I know that you can give my child a good life not like me. So, promise me
Doc. You will adopt my child. Maybe this is my destiny God Gave me sign. My wife
is waiting for me Doc. Please take care of my child, Also tell to my child that I love
him very much. Please Doc take care of him.

Doctor: Don’t worry I will take care of him and I will help him to reach his dream. I
will tell to him that his father is a hero because you save us.
