Content Optimization (cheatsheet)

Use this cheatsheet to ensure you have your content properly optimzied.

Make sure you have an H1 tag with your keyword in it.

You can break up larger blocks of content with H2, H3, etc, but just make sure they are
cascading downward in order. H1, followed by H2, etc.
Find variations of your keywords or closely related keywords to add styling too.
(example: bold, italicize, underline) Do one of each.
Link back to one page on your website.
Link out to an authority website. (wikipedia, city’s website, etc)
Place an image on the page and put the keyword in the alt tag.
Check the permalink structure, assign parent page if needed.
Add the page to Google search console and force index it.

If you’ve checked off each box on this cheatsheet, you have a perfectly optimized page. Good
work!
