Briones, Mark Andy R.

Final Paper - RS 1 BS Nursing – Cor Jesu College.

1. Is salvation by faith alone, or by faith plus works?"

Salvation is not just faith alone. It comes along with the good works you

will be doing for your people. By doing good deeds, it means that you are

following the path of God for us, His people. You are Christian because

you have faith and believe in HIM and it means that you have duties, just

like us, Roman Catholic. After being baptised, we are committed in doing

the “pagkapari, pagkahari ug pagkapropeta”.

2. How do we receive salvation through Jesus?

We can receive salvation by believing and following him. It is not just the

faith that works alone but the deeds also. It is just like you felt pity to

scavenged boy, but it is just your feeling who felt pity, how can you help

the boy if you didn’t help him by feeding him, right? How can we prove

our worth for salvation if we did not act according to his plan? As

Christian who follows Christ, we need to follow his Kingly deeds by

being a servant, follow his priestly deeds by being prayerful, and being

prophet, by spreading the words of God.

3. What are the steps to salvation? Well, for me, there is no such steps in

salvation. The reason why God gave us the freedom to think is to know

the right from wrong. And that thought is enough to prove that God gave

us the responsibility to save ourselves.
