They are also among the most popular reptile pets in the United States, despite being
quite difficult to care for properly. In fact, most captive iguanas die within the first year,
and many are either turned loose by their owners or given to reptile rescue groups.
The green iguana’s extensive range comprises the rain forests of northern Mexico,
Central America, the Caribbean Islands, and southern Brazil. They spend most of their
lives in the canopy, descending only infrequently to mate, lay eggs, or change trees.
Primarily herbivores, iguanas are active during the day, feeding on leaves, flowers, and
fruit. They generally live near water and are excellent swimmers. If threatened, they will
leap from a branch, often from great heights, and escape with a splash to the water
below. They are also tough enough to land on solid ground from as high as 40 feet
(12 meters) and survive. Resting time is usually from afternoon till night.
3. When are iguanas active?

B. In the afternoon
C. The whole day time

The king cobra is the largest venomous snake in the world. It has special muscles and
ribs in its neck that spread out to form a “hood” when the cobra feels threatened. This makes
the snake look bigger than it really is, and may help scare away predators.
King cobras make a deep, loud hissing sound. Like the rattle of the rattle snake, the
hiss is a warning signal that can be heard from a distance. The message is : ‘I am big, bad,
and will bite you if you come any closer !”
Most cobras are known to protect their eggs after laying them, but the female king
cobra does even more. She uses her body and head to move leaves around to build a nest.
After she lays her eggs, she covers them with more leaves, and stays on top of the nest until
the eggs hatch.

Salamander is an amphibian that has four legs, a long and slender body, and a long
tail. Despite their lizard like appearance, salamander are most closely related to the
smaller amphibious lizard, it call the newt.
Salamanders are found all over the world generally in more temperate climate and
their habitat is in near water area. All species of salamander are aquatic or semi
aquatic due to their amphibious nature and permeable skin. They are carnivore reptile
so the food is some kind like small fish, small frog and the other small things.
There are more than 700 species of recognized salamander worldwide from the
smaller species of newt to the Chinese giant salamander which can grow to nearly 2
meters long. All of salamander look very similar in appearance but as with lizards,
different species of salamander can have less limbs than normal. Normal meaning
