RE: PROPOSAL FOR ENGAGEMENT

Dear Ms. Augustin,

We hope this letter reaches you well!

Thank you for communicating the desire of your company to retain our legal
services. We are glad to extend our Engagement Agreement for the legal
needs for your property.

Stated below our proposed engagement agreement to govern our

professional fees for your case:

1. Purpose/Coverage. Representation as Counsel in the Transfer of

Ownership of Property; Legal Advice / Consultations thru personal
meetings, telephone, SMS or email.

2. Legal Consultation Fee. The Legal consultation fee is charged upon

the initial meeting to discuss the basic inquiries pertaining to the case.
A fee of Php 500.00 shall be paid for the initial consultation. The Legal
consultation fee shall be waived on succeeding discussion provided that
the client officially engaged the service of our law office

3. Acceptance Fee. The acceptance fee is usually based on the complexity

of the issues, the potential amount of time to be spent by the handling
lawyer and the gravity of the matter involved. For this matter we shall
charge you an Acceptance Fee of Php 50,000.00.

This fee shall be subject to the following conditions:

 Initial Payment of Php 10,000.00 deductible to the total

Acceptance Fee
 Representation as Counsel
 Free Legal Consultation
 Preparation of all necessary legal documents
 Postage Fee shall be reimbursed with official receipt.
 All our fees shall be non-refundable

4. Appearance Fee. Appearance Fee shall be charged to you whenever the

appearance of your counsel is necessary in the case. A fee of P3,500
within Bulacan. The payment for the Appearance Fee shall be made on
the exact date of appearance made by your counsel.

5. Pleading. A fee of Php 5,000.00 will be charged for the pleading.

6. Record. Gloria Law Office shall keep in its office a docket of record in

which it shall cause to be recorded all proceedings connected with nay
action which the Client is interested and shall keep such other records
necessary to preserve a complete history of the business of the Client
entrusted to its charge. Said docket and records shall be subject to
the inspection and control of the Client or his representative.

7. Conditions.  This Contract will not take effect, and Gloria Law Office
will have no obligation to provide legal services, until Client returns a
signed copy of this Contract and pays the payment of Php 10,000.00.

In sum, the following is the breakdown of the payment:

o Php 50,000.00 Acceptance Fee
o Php 10,000 Initial Fee
o Php 5,000.00 Pleading Fee
o Php 3,500 Appearance Fee

Should the foregoing retainer terms and conditions be acceptable to you,

kindly indicate your conformity by signing the acknowledgment herein
attached as Annex “A” and return to me the said extra copy with your
signature.
