CASE 1 Legal Conditions of Marriage

Rama (Islam, 25 years old) wants to marry his own cousins,


Sinta (Islam, 18 years old). Since Rama is studying abroad, He
asks his family to meet Sinta's family and propose to her,
which are:
a) His father (Islam, 60 years old, Muslim)
b) His Mother (Islam, 50 years old), and
c) His older brother, Arjuna (Islam 35 years old).

They were welcomed by Sinta's family, which are:


a) Her Father: (Christian, 57 years old)
b) Her Mother: (Christian, 55 years old)
c) Grandfather from her mother: (Islam, 75 years old)
d) Sinta's brothers, Yudhi (Islam, 30 years old) and Yudha
(Islam, 25 years), and
e) Uncle (father's younger brother), (Islam, 50 years old)

The whole family accepted the proposal, except for the uncle.
He refuses to give permission to Rama based on the reason
that Sinta is too young to get married.
At that meeting, both families decided that the marriage
would take place on October 30th, 2022. On the intended
date, it turned out that Rama could not attend due to a travel
warning of Covid-19.

perform marriage?
