The Organization

Directions: Identify the culture of the organizations you belong to. Write your answers in the table
below. (3 items x 10 points)

Informal - As a child of my parents, I am expected to follow their instructions and


advice. We have an informal relationship with each other but the respect for each other
is still there. My parents are the ones who mostly decides for us, especially if it is a
FAMILY
serious matter. We have our own responsibilities and duties that we should do inside
our house. We often have a vacation every summer in our province to meet our
relatives.

Informal - I can communicate with my friends freely. We value and appreciate each
other, and we show it by being loyal and being there to each other. Every time that we

have a plan (hangout for example) we value each other's opinion, and we make sure

that all of us can come so that we can completely enjoy the hangout. We make sure to
address a problem, if there is one, so that we can avoid further misunderstanding.

At school, I need to be formal and informal, depending on the situation that I am in.
We need to respect each other, especially our teacher or the one who is speaking in
CLASSROOM front. We need to be formal, well behaved and attentive when there is a lesson. We can
be informal with our classmates when there is no professor inside a classroom. Our
goal is to learn something new at the end of the day and school term.
