What Was The First Smartphone?

The ColdFusion created a video content that talks about “What was the first
Smartphone”. This video is about the first smart phone made in the world and how it was called
a smartphone. When you think of the first smartphone, you might think of Nokia, but that's
where we go wrong. In this video, we will discover what the world's first smartphone was.

The world's first smartphone is IBM Simon Personal Communicator, is a portable,

touchscreen personal digital assistant (PDA) designed by International Business Machines (IBM)
and manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric. Although the term "smartphone" was not coined until
1995, Simon has been referred to as the first true smartphone due to its features and capabilities.
In addition to its ability to make and receive phone calls, Simon was able to send and receive
faxes, emails and included other apps like an address book, calendar, appointment scheduler,
calculator, world time clock and a notepad through its touch screen display and stylus. The specs
of the phone are one megabyte of ram and flash storage and a 16 megahertz processor which was
actually x86 is the chip architecture used in windows Pc’s. Its specs weren’t that bad back then. I
think a lot can be done here as well. Theodore Paraskevakos was the first person on earth to
envision devices that combine telephone communication capabilities and computing, he was the
first to introduce the concepts of intelligence data processing and visual display screens into
telephones.

Finally, I'd like to point out that times change quickly. I think the smartphone used to be
like that, but now it's larger and more powerful, and you can do a lot of things with it, such as
play games. You'd never guess that a cell phone could be used for so much.
