VOCUS PERMISSION GROUP MATRIX AND DESCRIPTIONS


The matrix below represents the default settings for these permission groups when an account is created. Your Vocus Administrator has complete control to alter the settings for each of these groups. Therefore your particular system may not reflect the exact permissions listed below. For a description of each Permission Name, see the chart following the matrix.

Allows users to add, edit, and delete activities Allows users to add, edit, and disable data groups Allows users to change the preferences for their own individual user account Allows users to add, edit, and delete collateral items Allows users to edit and update company information under the Admin tab Allows users to send news and/or activity forwards Allows users the ability to set up and send a distribution, or allows them to only have the ability to add/edit but not send the distribution depending on the level of access chosen Allows users to add, edit, and delete opportunity lists Allows users to add, edit, and delete lists from the Admin tab Allows users to export data from the system Allows users to check in a collateral item that is checked out by another user. Allows users to add, edit, and delete news records depending on the level of access chosen for this particular permission Allows users to add, edit, and delete organizations depending on the level of access chosen for this particular permission Allows users to add, edit, and delete permission groups that are assigned to user accounts Allows users to modify the data that is displayed when looking at contacts, outlets, news, activities, organizations, individuals, etc. Allows users to add, edit, and delete projects depending on the level of access chosen for this particular permission Allows users to publish data to a newsroom Allows users to run reports across various entities in the system (contacts, outlets, news, activities, etc.) Allows users to run management reports available on the home page Allows users to modify settings under the Support Files section of the admin tab. This includes News Sources, News Categories, Activity Categories, etc Allows users to add, edit, and delete forward templates Allows users to update UDFs via the Update UDF option in the Tool menu from a results set Allows users to add, edit, and delete UDFs Allows users to add, edit, and delete user accounts Allows users to see which other users are currently logged into the application
