Week 2 (Home Economics)

Week 2: Cooking bagoong alamang.

Hipon/Bagoong

Ingredients:
● ¼ shrimp paste
● ⅛ pork (with fat) sliced
● 1 small onion, minced Product name and logo:
● 1 small garlic, minced
● 3 ½ tablespoon of sugar
● 3 teaspoon vinegar

Steps:
1. Heat a pan and sear the pork until oil comes out.
2. Transfer the pork in a bowl.
3. On the same pan, put the onion and garlic. Saute until golden brown.
4. Put the hipon and add the pork.
5. Cover and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes.
6. Add sugar, ajinomoto, and vinegar to taste.
7. Stir once in a while
8. Put to a bowl and wait until it cools down.
9. Transfer to the jar and preserve.

Preparation time:10 minutes


Cook Time: 15 minutes
25 minutes
