Substance does not burn but supports the combustion of flammable substances through the liberation
of oxygen. Water is the preferred extinguishing media when it is compatible with the burning
substance. if water is not compatible, use dry powder extinguisher.
Burning will elease hydrogen chloride gas (HC!) and oxides of sodium (NaO, )
Firefighters should weer self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) if necessary.

National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) hazard ratings are designed for use by emergency response
personnel to address the hazards that are presented by short-term, acute exposure to a material under
conditions of fire, spill, or similar emergencies. Hazard rating primarily besed on the inherentsphysical
and toxic properties of the material but slso include the toxic properties of combustion or

EnviroCon™
EPA Reg No. 9804-3
ATTENTION : HVAC SYSTEM CLEANING CONTRACTORS
EnviroCon is a very effective HVAC System Microbiocide. It hes been tested to meet EPA criteria for bacteria and mold
control in air duct systems. No mixing or evacuation of premises is required. Label directions must be followed to insure
proper application.
NOTE: Mixing of chemicals is never recommended. This product may be activated by ultraviolet light systems. Ifyou
suspect that bleach or any other chemical compound has been previously applied, you should completely rinse the coil and
drain pan with clean water prior to applying EnviroCon, or do not apply EnviroCon. It is prudent 10 ask if the system
has previously been treated, when and with what. EnviroCon can be reactive with other chemical compounds such as
hypochlorites (bleach) and phenol- based products. These chemical products have been knowa to have been used for
sanitizing HVAC systems although they may not have EPA approval for this application.
NOTICE OF WARRANTY
The seller makes no warranty, express or implied, conceming this material except that It conforms to the chemical
description on the label, Neither Bio-Cide International, Inc. nor the seller shall be held responsible for any persovial
injury, personal property damage or any other type of loss resulting from the handling, storage or use of this material. The
‘buyer assumes all risk and liability thereftom and accepts end uses this material on these conditions. Avoid direct contact
‘with newly installed carpet as it may result in temporary unpleasant odors.
EPA REGISTRATION
{cis important to note that some companies claim that their product is EPA registered as either a disinfectant or sanitizer
‘with the implication thet you can use it in TIVAC systems. This is clearly not the case since the EPA requires that all
products applied to HVAC systems be specifically registered for this application. Some chersicals may be applied to the
coils, but NOT approved for use in ducts. Should you have any questions 2s to whether a product is registered for use in
HVAC systems, you can obtain a copy of the Master Label registered with the EPA through the Freedom of Information
Act. Also, you can call the IAQ Hotline for more information at (800) 438-2318.
CHEMICAL SENSITIVITY
‘A few isolated incidences have recently been brought to our attention in which the HVAC systems of highly chemically
sensitive people were cleaned and sanitized. ‘The reported incidences involve various health related problems following
the cleaning and sanitizing operation, The sanitizers employed included, but were not necessarily limited to Bio-Cide’s
EnviroCon. While we consider EnviroCon to be the most efftetive and least toxic of all chemicals used for HVAC
system sanitation, we also feel thet HVAC contractors should be alerted to the fact that highly chemically sensitive
individuals may be prone to certain health related symptoms, whether real or perceived, with the use of any chemical
sanitizer. We recommend that EnviroCon not be used where chemically sensitive individuals are involved.

Use Instructions
For Deodorization of HVAC System Duct Worl
Fogor spray EnviroCon into system intakes while system fan isrumming. Allow enough spray time
for EnviroCon to contact air duct system surfaces. Surfaces should be lightly coated. Avoid
saturating to a level where product drips or pools. Repeat application as necessary. No dilution
necessary - one gallon will treat approximately 1,000 - 1,500 linear feet of duct surface.
For Microbial Control of Evaporator Coils, Drip Pans and Air Conditioning Parts:
Air conditioning system parts should be manually pre-cleaned prior to application using a suitable
coil/drip pan cleaner. After cleaning thoroughly, spray EnviroCon onto: ‘cleaned surfaces.
Do not wipe off. Allow to air dry. No dilution necessary.
For Microbial Control of Evaporative Cooler Excelsior Mats:
Excelsior mats should be thoroughly washed to remove any dirt, debris or slime build-up. Liberally
spray EnviroCon onto mats for microbial control. and to remoye stale, musty odors. Add 2 oz. of
EnviroCon per gallon of reservoir water capacity for effective environmental maintenance.
For Year Round Maintenance:
Residential homes and apartment complexes should be treated two times per year or as needed.
Commercial, industrial buildings and health care fzcilities should be treated every month to ensure
effective environmental control. EnviroCon should be part of an overall Indoor Air Quality
Preventative Maintenance Program.
