ARGUMENTATIVE PAPER
One must be adaptive in a society that is rapidly changing, and the
government is responsible for putting laws in place that cater to the necessities of its
citizens. Implementing K to 12 Curriculum believes that this will resolve our
educational problems. However, some others think that wasn't the answer to our
situation.

Despite the K–12 Curriculum's importance in providing Filipino kids with a

higher standard of education, it is likely that the program will not deliver on its
promises. This is because neither the pupils nor the professors are ready yet
(Trillanes, 2015). School facilities and supplies are insufficient. Even if the program
would provide textbooks and references for the two additional years of schooling, it is
still insufficient. Concerningly few classrooms, libraries, restrooms, and other
facilities, as well as textbooks, modules, and other educational resources, as well as
teachers, non-teaching staff, maintenance staff, and other individuals working in the
education sector, are available. The addition of two years to a kid's basic education
would only make these issues, which prevent the student from receiving the kind of
education they require. In the public primary schools, there are typically 60 children
in each classroom. Only one teacher will spend the entire day instructing the
students in each classroom. With 60 kids, the teacher would not be able to provide
the highest quality of instruction throughout the day.

According to the presented justifications, the K–12 System is still under

observation. The pupils would receive advanced instruction once they were enrolled
in the K–12 program, which may significantly raise the quality of education provided
to students and increase Filipinos' performance rates worldwide. It offers modified
teaching delivery and a focused expansion of learning resources. But, to create a
more manageable and effective educational system, the government should address
basic needs in education including a lack of classrooms, teachers, and textbooks,
which are urgently needed during this pandemic.
