Objectives:
At the end of this activity, the students will be able to:
A. Identify the Figure of Speech
B. Define each parts of speech

Topic: Figure of Speech
Material: Module, Pencil
Reference: English and Vocabulary words

Procedure:
A. Preliminary Activities
I Greetings- Greet the students good morning/good afternoon.
II Prayer- Ask one student to lead the prayer.
III Checking of attendance- Check the attendance of the students
IV Drill- Have an exercise in the class before proceeding to the lesson.
VI Review; Ask the students about the previous lesson, then give them a short activity to refresh
their memory.

B. Introduction
- Introduce to the class the topic for today “The figure of Speech”.
- Discuss the topic and let them read the concept notes
- Ask some students if they have an idea about the said topic.

C. Activity
-Prepare an activity for the students
-Ask one student to recite the topic “ What are the different kinds of figures of speech?”
-Pick some student to give an example for each figure of speech.
-After the student finished the assigned activity, The teacher will check their answers.

D. Abstraction
-Proceed to the next activity.
-Group them into 5 groups and give them the activity that is written in the board.

E. Application
-The teacher will let the students to read the question of the activity and let them answer each
number.

V Evaluation
-Give students a short quiz about the topic.
-After they done answering the activity, The teacher will check it.

VI Assignment- For the assignment, ask students to give 2 example of each Figure of Speech.
