Describe the pattern of the prices and the movement of economy in the current situation of the
Pandemic. (150 words)

As we all know when the Covid 19 virus hit the world especially the Philippines, the prices of its
products that consumed by every consumer has changed. The products that we often buy and use
before are now essential and should not be missed, with the spread of the virus many products have
increased in price such as alcohol, facemask, face shield, personal protective equipment (PPE), medicine
and many others.

For example with the price of facemask then, when there was no pandemic you could buy a
piece of it for 1 peso but now they sell it for 5 peso the difference of the price is huge. Also, the price
and lack of supply of medicine in the pharmacy. The prices and the movement of economy has changed
because when Covid 19 virus spread to the world the demand for the products increased more so it
resulted in a shortage in the desire of other countries to have supplies that can fight the virus.

Truly, the pandemic thought us a lesson that we should never take for granted the things which
we thought was useless.
