Sir:

Pursuant to the Philippine Constitution of 1987, Article IX-D, Section 2, the Commission on
Audit (COA) shall examine, audit, and settle all accounts pertaining to the revenue and receipts of,
and expenditures or uses of funds and property, owned, or held in trust by, or pertaining to the
Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Regional Office No. IV-A for Calendar Year (CY) 2022 as
cited in the Engagement Letter dated June 28, 2022.

In this connection, we would like to request for an entrance conference to be held on August
30,2022 at 1:30 PM wherein the key audit areas on the compliance and financial audit of the accounts
and transactions of DTI IV-A, audit scope, methodologies, audit outputs, involvement of the auditee-
agency, significant milestones and other administrative matters concerning the conduct of audit will
be discussed in detail for your information.

May we also request the presence of the following officials and personnel on the said entrance
conference:

 Budget Officer
