2. Why Warm up is important? Explain/ Discuss

Regular physical activity can help you gain muscle strength and

endurance. Exercise helps your cardiovascular system work more

efficiently by delivering oxygen and nutrients to your tissues. And

as your heart and lung health improves, you will have more

energy to complete daily tasks.

3. Create a warm up routine for yourself, head to Toe.

Neck bend

Shoulder roll

Waist bend

Leg stretching

Toe stretching (sit up position)

4. What is Cool Down?

Cooling down is equivalent to warming up. You usually continue

your workout for another five minutes or so, but at a slower pace

and with less intensity. Here are some examples of cool-down

activities: After a brisk walk, walk slowly for five to ten minutes to

cool down.

5. What is the difference between Warmup and Cool Down?

A warmup gradually revs up your cardiovascular system by

increasing blood flow to your muscles and raising your body

temperature. Warming up may also aid in the reduction of muscle

soreness and the reduction of your risk of injury. Cooling down

after your workout allows your heart rate and blood pressure to

gradually return to pre-exercise levels.
