During the school year we played many team games. You had the opportunity to participate in
team games such as football, soccer, handball, volleyball, basketball, kickball, softball and floor
hockey.

Research a team game you enjoyed in PE this school year. Write a research paper that includes
the 4 items listed below. Each item must be at least one paragraph. Each item is worth 10 points
each for a total of 40 points.

YOUR PAPER SHOULD BE A TOTAL OF 4 PARAGRAPHS. (40 points)

• Identify the game or physical activity and tell why you enjoyed it. (10 points)

• Give the history of the game or physical activity. (10 points)

• Explain the rules that govern the game or physical activity. (10 points)

• Explain strategies that are important to being successful in the game or physical
activity. (10 points)

During the duration of the year, during one of our units we played Softball. Yes, I played
softball outside of the class, but I also just genuinely enjoy the sport itself. Being able to see
my favorite sport come to life inside of the gym, and being able to play games with my
classmates is what brought me joy.
