Summative Frankenstein!

-Arina Shamsutdinova!

Act 4!
Two years have passed, but it’s still in the misty fog of the same room with hanging plugs,
electrical wires in and out which seem to be connected to something terrifying hiding beneath
some ragged sheets. Lightning strikes outside as a shadow appears taking of the sheets and
smiling. Machinery is covering the earie room except this time the machinery is a lot more
advanced and almost takes up the whole room...

The monster stands in the room looking around while the windows are blurred out with fog
from condensation as well as the light is painfully bright… The lights start to flicker as
rushed footsteps approach the room, the footsteps stop, and we hear the door creak as
Frankenstein runs in ready to create another monster…

The monster is at unease with Frankenstein’s late arrival but steps away from his bride as
Frankenstein proceeds to add more and more wires.

Monster: She’s a beauty, maybe not perfect in humanities

standards but we will have our own.

Frankenstein: The thunder might end soon, these storms don’t last
forever, if you want her to survive you best keep your
hands away for now.

Monster: It better work regardless if you want me gone…

Frankenstein smiles as he thinks to himself “Maybe finally it will be over”, but he was
so far from the terrifying truth of the future as he turns the handle of the machine.

Lightning strikes as the Prescence of electricity enters the air with sparks flying left and right
making the room so bright almost as if you were staring into a flashlight… The experiment is
going great until the monster starts to get inpatient and slowly but surely walks over to
Frankenstein…

Frankenstein: Step away the experiment is processing you mustn’t

disturb it now!

Monster: Thank you Frankenstein but you should’ve known

better.
Before Frankenstein’s nerves can even respond the monster leaps onto him digging his
atrociously sharp claws deep inside of his neck as scarlet red blood leaks out painting the
floor.

Shortly after the monster does not hesitate as he elevates himself back onto his feet and starts
turning the handle, his bride starts moving as her dreadful corpse shakes left and right, but it
all ends here when the door breaks open with a knife flying directly into the handle where the
monsters hand seems to be positioned.

Clerval and Elizabeth run into the room petrified armed with guns as they already
foreshadowed that Frankenstein was up to no good.

Clerval: Speak of the devil.

Elizabeth: I cannot believe Frankenstein has been away for

months ghosting me doing something as terrible as
this.

The machinery breaks down as waves of electricity hit Frankenstein and his bride frying him
to the point that he doesn’t even fit in to the monster standards anymore.

Ignoring everything that is happening Elizabeth dashes to the crime scene of Frankenstein
only to release that his soul has long left this world

Elizabeth: No Frankenstein, how could this happen why would

you not tell us anything, why would you shut us out,
I thought we loved each other maybe if you would
listen to others then things would’ve never ended
this way.

Clerval: Elizabeth! How is Frankenstein? My view of this scene

is all blurred out is he okay?

Elisabeth weeps as she screams back with an uneasy tone.

Elizabeth: Call help, immediately! nothing is okay nothing is

blurred out wake up if you don’t, we might end up
watching Frankenstein’s be burned into ashes.

Clerval: Elizabeth… if that puddle of blood is from who I

think it is there is no possible way to rescue them, I
am dearly sorry Frankenstein I should have come
sooner, now you must pass away without liberty from
those horrendous experiments.

Elizabeth stands up with tears which shatter like glass when they hit the stained floor and
raises her voice which conveys the sound of pain from deep inside her heart to her throat,
Clerval falls to the ground with a feeling of guilt dripping like the blood from Frankenstein’s
neck.
Elizabeth: Do you even care about him?

Clerval: Of course-

Elizabeth: It sure seems like you don’t what’s wrong with you
get up and get help.

Clerval: Please don’t interrupt me I have been friends with

Frankenstein for years since childhood-

Elizabeth: THEN CALL HELP-

Clerval: YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW I FEEL!

Elizabeth: Your right I don’t.

Elizabeth calms down as her eyes drip more.

Elizabeth: But I do know how you act, and it will never make
up for how you feel.

The door slams as Elizabeth runs out leaving the room in silence with two brutally murdered
corpses and one dug up from the grave. The silence of the room drives Clerval mad as he
trips over and hits his head becoming unconscious.

Elizabeth cannot bare to stay anywhere near her love’s death, so she scurries of into the artic
under the name Frankenstein as she presumed that Frankenstein would’ve liked that. Her hair
cut and ruffled, and her clothes ruined completely she made herself into a different person.
She meets captain Walton and tells him the story of Frankenstein as someone she is not, who
would be “Victor Frankenstein”.
