While listening on the recorded video of my classmates, I have learned


that customer value is at the heart of Quality Paradigm's mission. It refers
to a product's ongoing improvement until it reaches a point where customers
are content with the product, commodities, and services they are receiving.

Quality has 3 aspects on revolution: (1) The Pre- Industrial Paradigm


wherein consumers based solely on the quality of the products, (2) The
industrial Paradigm in which organizations paved the way to focus on quality
control in order to gain more customers and (3) The Post Industrial
Paradigm wherein Total Quality Management was greatly focused by the
organizations.

On another lesson, the reporters have also discussed about the use of
Quality Tools. Using this enables companies to understand and
comprehend the difficulties that their business has in order to present a set
of solutions for resolving their current issues:
 Checklist- Guide on important outputs to deliver and finish a certain
task.
 Cause-and-Effect Diagram- Fish bone diagram that helps
organization to discover reason on the problems arising and identifying
solutions to it.
 Flowchart- an illustration of process and system.
 Control Chart- also known as SPC chart.
 Scatter Diagrams- “Scatter Plot”/“X-Y Graph” with qualitative and
quantitative data.
 Histogram- a graph of company’s history of decision making.
 Pareto Analysis- A bar graph of company’s current status.

FOREVER 21 (CASE STUDY)


As Forever 21 have reached their popularity, they become complacent and
did not focus on how to satisfy their customers consistently. This must be a
learning to many that even a certain product is well-known, people will stop
from purchasing if they did not get what they are looking for in a certain
product.
TAKE AWAY
In the business world where a lot of competitors were born, company
owners and aspiring business man must focus on the quality and uniqueness
of products and services they will sell in the market through Quality
paradigm and quality tools.
