 Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to express the wish of being selected as one of your
judges at the International Festival our town organizes this year. After having read
the advertisement you have published in today’s issue of the local newspaper, I
truly believe that I possess all the qualifications and skills you require.

As far as my expertise in the field is concerned, I need to mention that I have

graduated from the Conservatory in London and I am able to play several musical
instruments, such as the piano, the flute, the violin and the cello. I have already
taken part in a similar event, in 2020 in Cambridge, and I believe I have the right
skills to help you.

Although I am an expert in classical music, which I would recommend to be

included in the festival, I would also suggest introducing pop and jazz music as
well. Since people in this town like several types of music, I consider it would be
fair to offer them a wider range of musical performances.

As a music specialist, I can easily understand if a particular voice or band are

worth being accepted in the festival. In addition, I am a hard-working and
committed person, able to cope with pressure. Last but not least, I am an excellent
team player and I believe my contribution will benefit your festival.
