Your quick start guide to the most popular digital
planning apps for iOS and Android users
--
What app should I use for Digital
Planning?
--
2. Noteshelf
Available for both iOS and Android users
Premium App: with a one-time payment (generally under $10 USD)
you get access to the app for iPhone and iPad (or smartphone and
tablet )
Easy to use
This is app I use and recommend for beginners because it is so easy and
also available for many users.
The interface on iOS devices is identical to the interface for Android
making for a shorter learning curve if you ever change devices.
The only negative point about this app is that you need to purchase the
app again if you plan on using your digital planner with your Mac
computer as the app is not universal like GoodNotes.
Further, you cannot install it on Windows computers and also not sync
les between iOS and Android devices.

4. ZoomNotes
Available only for iOS users
Premium App:with a one-time payment (generally under $10 USD)
you get access to the app for iPhone, iPad and Mac
Not as user friendly as the other apps
ZoomNotes is a robust apps with many features that are not available
in any other app I have ever tested such as adding hyperlinks to your
planner and create Dutch Door pages.
However, the app is not really user friendly and I don't recommend it for
total beginners. One you open the interface you'll notice the difference
between ZoomNotes and the other apps.
It's de nitely a fun app to try once you're used to digital planning and
want to explore what else you can achieve with a powerfully built app.
ZoomNotes has a Lite version which is free. I couldn't tell what
features where missing on the Lite version when I tested it (but it was a
long time ago, so things may have changed).

5. Xodo
Available for both iOS and Android users
Free App
Easy to use
Xodo is available for iOS and Android users but I actually don't
recommend Xodo for iPad users as the interface is totally different
from the Android version and lacks some very important features
such as the ability to duplicate pages!
On the other hand Xodo is great on Android devices. In fact I am always
between Xodo and Noteshelf when considering apps for Android users.
They are both great but Xodo is free.
I would say that the interface is not as simple as Noteshelf's interface
but still quite straight forward and with a bit of time adjusting you
should have no problem using Xodo.
