IMPORTANT NOTES
1. For each session, candidates are required to sit for all the components of MUET as stated in the timetable above.
MUET results will only be issued to candidates who have sat all MUET components in the same session.
2. Only 2B pencils are to be used to answer questions for the (800/3) Reading and (800/1) Listening Paper.
Candidates are required to bring their own 2B pencils and erasers.
3. If the details in MUET/D are incorrect:
a. Candidates from schools/institutions should make amendments on the MUET/D slip. The slips should be
returned to Majlis Peperiksaan Malaysia through candidates' respective school principals. The rectified details
will appear in the MUET certificates issued later.
b. Private candidates should inform Majlis Peperiksaan Malaysia by letter, of the amended details to be made
on the MUET/D slip (name, identification number, and postal address) the soonest possible.
c. All amendments that are sent to Majlis Peperiksaan Malaysia more than 2 weeks after the release of MUET/D
will be charged RM25.00. Money Order should be made out to the Ketua Eksekutif, Majlis Peperiksaan
Malaysia.
4. Handbags, mobile phones, cameras, radios, smart watches, voice recorders, any bluetooth-enabled electronic
devices, explosives and flammable substances and any guns, firearms and weapons are barred from being taken
into the quarantine room (for the Speaking test) and examination hall/room.
5. Candidates should be in appropriate attire. Non-compliance with this dress code may result in candidates being
barred from taking the test.
6. For Speaking test, candidates should be seated in the examination hall/room 15 minutes before the test begins.
7. For Written test, candidates are advised to arrive at the test centre by 7.30 am.
8. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the test centre if they have COVID-19 symptoms. Please wear a face
mask during the exam.
9. Candidates are required to show original identity card or original passport in the examination hall. If fail to do so,
candidates are not allowed to sit for the test.
10. The results will not be released if MPM has not received any payment from the candidates (code W).
11. Result of the candidates will be detained if they are under investigation of malpractice.
12. Candidates are encouraged to always sanitise their hands before and after every examination session.
