Development Goals
A. Instruction
Goal 1) Internal efficiency and effectiveness –
PPAs
1. Establish a policy on lateral entry for highly qualified professionals to man the
technical operations in instruction and research. Vacated items by Associate &
full Professors should not be collapsed but kept for high caliber applicants;
2. Pursue and prioritize an ambitious but attainable excellent infrastructure
development plan and the establishment of high tech excellent centralized
laboratory(ies) equipment and facilities for instruction, research and training
manned by competent top caliber professionals
3. Conduct high impact PPAs to attain the desired goals in its mandated functions
4. Pursue the internationalization of academic programs and accreditation
5. Offer new programs based on demand and responsiveness to the changing
times
6. Enhanced instructional pedagogy(ies) for programs whose passing percentage
is lower than the national average.

GOAL 2. Boost inter-agency and international linkages

PPAs
1. Sustainable pursuit of linking or connecting with Universities in ASEAN and
Europe whose programs are beneficial and similar with ESSU;
 2. Acquire state-of-the art facilities in robotics, cloud computing and similar
advances in information technology that would back up trends in formation
technology in partnership with Universities abroad;
3. Attune all curricular program and pedagogies to the 4 th Industrial Revolution
4. Enhance and boost students and faculty across campuses exchange training
with Universities abroad whose curricular programs and facilities are beneficial or
similar with ESSU
