Sub: Introduction of new format of questions in the forthcoming external theoretical examinations for the
lna$ Qth semester diploma students under new syllabus [November 2022).

Sir/Madam,
This is to inform you that the Council will introduce a new format of questions in the forthcoming
external theoretical examinations for the 2na& 4th semester diploma students under new syllabus fNovember
2022). The revised format is placed her in under for convenience of all concerned.

For 2"d Semester: Duration of Examination will be 2.5 Hours.

FOr 4tt Semester:

The question pattern has been changed to 20 marks objective and 40 marks subjective type questions.
The 20:40 question pattern will be the standard pattern of examination in all future examinations.
i) Duration of Examinatio-n will be 2.5 Hours.
ii) Answer to Question No. 1 & Zare compulsory and to be answered first. This answer is to be made in
separate loose script(s) provided for the purpose. Maximum time allowed is 30 minutes, after
which the loose answer scripts will be collected and fresh answer scripts for answering the
remaining part of the question will be provided. On early submission of answer scripts of Question
No 1 & 2, a student will get the remaining script earlier.Any Eight questions is to be answered from
the Question No 3 to'L2.
iii) Question No. 1 consists of Multiple Choice Questions- Ten questions to be answered [1 marks for
each question)]
iv) Question No. 2 consists of Fill in the blanks type questions- Ten questions to be answered [1 marks
for each question)l
v) Question No. 3 to 12 cbnsist of long answer type questions- [5 marks for each question)
