Do a research work on the exploitation of oil in Venezuela.

Venezuela is an oil country, the fifth largest in the world, with the largest
reserves of conventional oil in the Western Hemisphere and the largest
reserves of unconventional oil in the world. Our economic, political and
cultural history has always revolved around the valuable resource of oil.

Official oil exploitation began in 1875, with the participation of the Táchira
oil company, La Alquitrana, and the blowout of the “Zumaque. Starting in
1922, large-scale oil exploitation began, coercing a large number of events
that drastically changed the course of the country. Through the initiative
