PAKISTANS EARTHQUAKE TRAGEDY

Man is the crown of creation and is ruling on the earth undoubtedly, he has made, amazing advancement in science and technology. He has conquered the space and stepped on the moon. But in spite of all this progress, he is still helpless before, natural calamities. Earthquake is one of the calamities which has left many tragedies in human history. Some ancient civilizations buried in a twinkling of any eye and become a lesson for humanity on 8th October 2005.Pakistan faced such a deadliest natural diasaster in the countrys history. The magnitude of this severe earthquake was 7.6 on ricter scale and its epicenter was 100km north. West of Islamabad.Balakot, muzaffarabad, rawalakot, bagh and hazara division of NWFP were the hardest hit areas. More than 73,000 lost their lives and more than 1, 00,000 were injured.3.5 million had been rendered homeless. Transportation and communication infrastructure had been devasted.450 Pakistan army personnel were killeo white 650 injured. Pakistan army and international organization worked well in carrying out relief operation in different quake. Hit area. Pakistan armys engineers who were deployed to reopen the blocked routes, successfully opened the main routes in azad Kashmir and hazara district in NWFP.Entired armed forces were mobilized.Pak army and us helicopters took part in relief operation. The Goverment and NGOs mobile and field hospitals in badly affected areas. Food was transported including flour, pulses, milk power, sugar etc by the Government, WFO and NGOs in the affected areas, in this regard, the sympathetic passion of the public for their effective brethren was worth praising .people on their own served their own countries fellow in badly hit area and the tent village in different parts of the country. The tragedy of such huge proportions was larger than the entire capacity of the government .entier infrastructure in almost half of azad Kashmir went down to earth in this massive earthquake .the supply of massive relief in all forms was immediately required to bring the life back to normal in quake hit areas. The international community delivered swiftly on their pledges and reconstruction efforts. International donors conference at Islamabad for rehabilitation and reconstruction in quake hit areas. The highest standard of transparency and accountability would be maintain the ensure that money denoted by world reach the real deserving people. Above all we should pay to Allah almighty to forgive our sin dang give us his mercy and favour to overcome the loss and save us from any other disaster like this.
