BIODEVERSITY

Biodiversity is all the different kinds of life you'll find in one area—the variety
of animals, plants, fungi, and even microorganisms like bacteria that make up
our natural world. Each of these species and organisms work together in
ecosystems, like an intricate web, to maintain balance and support life.

GINETIC DIVERSITY
Genetic diversity is the total number of genetic characteristics in the genetic
makeup of a species, it ranges widely from the number of species to differences
within species and can be attributed to the span of survival for a species.

SPECIES DIVERSITY
Species diversity is the number of different species that are represented in a
given community. The effective number of species refers to the number of
equally abundant species needed to obtain the same mean proportional species
abundance as that observed in the dataset of interest.

ECOSYSTEM DIVERSITY
Ecosystem diversity deals with the variations in ecosystems within a
geographical location and its overall impact on human existence and the
environment. Ecosystem diversity addresses the combined characteristics of
biotic properties and abiotic properties.
