This project was realized with the aim of identifying instruments that allow the
measurement of the variables that make up University Social Responsibility (USW) in a
Smart campus and formulate application plans for them. The development of its
methodology required a descriptive and documentary exploration regarding the area of
study of University Social Responsibility (USW) and its application in a Smart Campus,
through a literature review in scientific journals, unpublished documents, research
projects executed, among others. Subsequently, the information was analyzed based on
the objectives set. Then, a tool was designed to generate a diagnosis of the RSU by
measuring each of the variables of the pillars that lead to a Smart Campus (Social, R &
D & I, Education, Infrastructure and Mobility, Health, Environmental and Governance).
Finally, plans were put forward for the application of the tool that allow evaluating each
of the stakeholders, applying the surveys and guaranteeing their validity and
effectiveness. This project is developed within the framework of the institutional
research titled: “Monitoring system of the variables that make up university social
responsibility applied in a Smart Campus” attached to the GEDETEC Technological and
Experimental Development Group of the center for technological studies of the unit of
Santander UDES.
