S + V (finite) + (O)
A finite has a subject and show tense.
Ex: I want to become a doctor.
Nhan wants to become a doctor.
Trang wanted to become a singer.
Non-finite: 5
+to infinitive
+gerund (V-ing)
+bare infinitive
+present participle (V-ing): rút gọn MĐQH ở dạng active -> Ving
+past participle: rút gọn MĐQH ở dạng passive -> V3/ed
Ex:
-Thanh enjoys playing a video game.
Enjoys: V finite
Playing: gerund
-Sad movies make me cry.
Make: V finite
Cry: bare infinitive
-Phong loves the girl who robbed the bank yesterday. (đảm bảo 1 S và 1 V)
Loves: V finite
 Rút gọn: Phong loves the girl robbing the bank yesterday. (Present participle)
-the girl who lives next door is cute.
V finite: is
 Rút gọn: The girl living next door is cute.
-Phong loves the girl arrested for armed robbery. (past participle)
Relative clause= Adj clause = trước Noun

S + V(f) + (O) (,) adjective clause

-I was born and bred in HCM city, which is Vietnam’s major commercial and financial center.
