I believe caffeine affects the human body in both positive and negative ways, always
depending on the quanity which is taken. As Valerie DeBenedette stated “In small dose, caffeine
can temporarily make you feel more awake and energetic… The downside to caffeine is that too
much of it can make falling asleep difficult.” (DeBenedette 1-2) (According to DeBenedette) On
one hand, caffeine can be a benefit when it is taken in small and controlled doses but on the
other, if it is taken unconciously, the body can react negatively by not letting you sleep, “develop
a bad headache that lasts a day or two.” (DeBenedette 2) , “... “jitters” making you feel anxious
even though you have nothing to feel anxious about.” (DeBenedette 2)... Concluding my
thoughts, caffeine affects the human body depending on the quantity you take and during how
much you do. Your body is a masterpiece, do not ruin it before time; and before it ruins you.
