At the end of the course unit, learners will be able to:

 Define Health, Nursing, Nutrition, and other terminologies
related to the study of Nutrition and Diet Therapy
 Integrate relevant principles of anatomy and physiology,
biochemistry, health assessment and health education in nutrition
and diet therapy.
 Apply appropriate concepts of nutrition and diet therapy
holistically and comprehensively.
 Track the digestion of food and nutrients in the body.
 Identify all the macronutrient and micronutrients as to definition,
classification, purpose, function in the body, food sources,
deficiency and excess affecting the body.
 Affective:
