Also, it lays down the type of government for a country and how it should function, and lays down limits on the powers of the government. It also lays out the rights and duties of the citizens. 2. Support your answer. - The 1987 Philippine Constitution is thus a conventional/enacted , written, and rigid/inelastic constitution, because one that a sovereign grants to his citizens or that is enacted by a constituent assembly, one which has been given definite form at a particular time, usually by a specially constituted authority called a “constitutional convention” or “constitutional commission” and it is one regarded as a document of special sanctity, which can not be amended or altered except by some special machinery other than ordinary legislative process.
