Sunbathing

Blue sky, white clouds

Bright sun, gentle breeze
Smooth sand, shiny shells
Clear sea and coconut trees.

Lie on the golden carpet

Feel the warmth of Mr Sun
Hear the waves whispering,
‘Welcome and have fun!’

Slowly, slowly
I closed my eyes
As comfortably as on my bed
Till some feeling made me rise.

How painful, painful

As I touched my skin
I was like burnt toast
That I always throw in the bin.
