Dear Diary,

I finally got rid of David, and I have found a new target, his name is Jeremy. I have also
found a new ring that Jeremy’s going to help me obtain. It’s a gorgeous eighteen-point-four
carat cushion cut yellow diamond!
I caught his eye at Ascot today. It is child’s play to attract a man’s attention, a beguiling
smile, a hushed whisper. Usually, the most ordinary of men are the most susceptible to my
manipulation, they are often surprised that I even noticed them. So that’s what I did, I asked
him out for dinner. His reply was exactly as I had expected, the stammering, the
nervousness.
When I arrived fashionably late, I purposely placed my undivided attention on him, and I
think I laughed at all the right times. And of course, he paid for our dinner at The Ivy.
I have been in this trade for long enough to know that men like to be surprised. And surprise
him I did, I invited him home and even let him sleep with me. Luckily, I planned it all
meticulously, father was on his business trip just as I had expected, and David had already
left.
I expect this conquest to go very smoothly.
