DEFINITION OF TERMS

To facilitate the understanding of this study, different terms are defined herein.

Depression is a common mental disorder. It is a feeling of severe despondency and dejection.

Detrimental is a more formal way of talking about things that do harm.

Ensues is if something occurs after another event, it will ensue, which means it will happen as a result or
follow after the first event.

Exacerbates is to make something worse or more severe.

Fatigue is an extreme tiredness resulting from mental or


physical exertion or illness.

Physiological relates to the way in which a living organism or bodily part functions.

Psychosomatic is created by or made worse by a mental factor, such as stress or internal conflict.

Transportation is the action of transporting someone or something or the process of being transported.

Expenses is the cost required for something; the money spent on something.

Mental health is a state of mental well-being that enables people to cope with the stresses of
life, realize their abilities, learn well and work well, and contribute to their community.
