THE STRUGGLE TO SOCIALISE IN A SOCIAL-MEDIA-WORLD

Electronic devices have become essential in our daily lives. We are connected to whatever
happens around us but, unbelievably, we use it to escape from our reality too. Are we sure
that we control social media, and it doesn't control the way we socialise?

Based on a previous article that analyse the effects of social media in 2014, we recover the
idea that, there, consumers aren’t passive. They connect with the space creating a new way
of communication, and it affects, greatly on their social skills.

Even though the facts added in that article are a bit out-of-step, they are important enough to
be considered. Only 8 years ago, more than a 20% of Facebook users checked it every
morning since they woke up. Nowadays, hardly anyone can deny mostly none can deny that
they see social media in general one hour after awkening / getting up / opening their eyes in
the morning before 1 hour since they open their eyes. Other Others platforms have risen,
like Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, but the essence remains. We live glued to them.

Social media has begun have begun a new era of socialisation. Taking the example of
Twitter, social media provides provide the opportunity to be informed and updated, giving us
the chance opportunity to mess around to mess around with the world at our fingertips. In
this way, social media makes the effort for us to interact with different people, to embark on
(a) new adventures, to be the best version of ourselves. One could say that social media has
provided have provided us to be the most socialised animal in the world.

The development of communication because of social media platforms is not returnable, on

the whole it’s also an increasing responsibility for all of us. If we can’t deny how it affects us
in our daily life lives , it’s better to embrace it (get on with it and introduce it to make us
better.) and use it to improve ones individuality
