Task: Design your own plant OR animal to suit a biome/ecosystem of your

choice. You need to include adaptations that allow the plant OR animal to
survive in that location all year round. This will be peer assessed by a member
of your class.

 Identify FOUR features of your ecosystem – what is it like?
 Give an example of where you will find this type of ecosystem
 Add at least FOUR adaptations suited for that ecosystem
 Explain why the adaptations are suited for that ecosystem
 Explain how your animal or plant protects itself from other species
 Include how these adaptations change for different seasons
 Explain how your animal or plant protects itself from other species
 Challenge: Identify a threat to the ecosystem e.g. climate change
 Challenge: Explain how these threats could impact your species.
