her application for your preceptorship position. As the Level 2 Co-Lead Faculty, I had the
opportunity to work with Maria as she progressed through the rigorous content of her second
semester. Maria demonstrated dedication to her didactic courses and the desire to be actively
involved in and exceptionally prepared for her clinical experiences. I am confident that she will
continue to display these qualities during her preceptorship.

Maria continually demonstrates willingness to participate in additional learning opportunities,

ask for help when needed, and collaborate effectively with her peers. These qualities will make
for an excellent preceptee.

Maria has shown growth in her experiences in the clinical setting. She has been able to establish
excellent rapport with her patients, grow her confidence in providing appropriate hands-on
patient care, as well as engage in educational conversations with her nurse mentors. With an
empathetic personality, pristine attention to detail, and ability to think critically I have
confidence that she will embrace the learning opportunities presented during her preceptorship.
