ARMSTRONG, FRANCHESCA RENEE 5. DE GUZMAN, ABSTRACT ‘The COVID-19 pandemic hes changed teaching in instutions, especialy in medical school. Online learning became the core technique of teaching during the pandemie. Despite the development ond growth of technology inthe Philippines, many uses are opinionated of using ontine classes as an effective platform for fearing during te pandemic. In ths study, the perception of Ts second year students and 30 faulty members of medical technology from Centro fecolar University = Makati were obtoined to determine their expences in the learning environment. A survey using ¢ five-point Likert scale questonnaite was used to obtaln the perception of the respondents, Reauits show that the acore of the mean rating was higher fr traltonal leaning compared to vitual leaning (etudents= 43181 vs 2476: taculty= 4.0467 ve. 3.3600) for both students and teachers. signileant diferences were found in meane of the student and faculty perception on virtual leaming (p=<0.00!) as weil a student and faculty perception on tractionalleaming (p=0.028). The responses toward vitual earning ae negative than of tradtonal learning while professors show uncertainty with vitua learning, There are factors such as lack of resources, motivation, comprehension, unpreparedness ond time ‘managementduring vitual learning forthe students, Moreover, majority of the teachers think that students are more prone to cheating during vital fearing, The results of his study serve os a basis oF future research on alfrent teaching strategies that would be most beneficial and effective to both students and educators when it comes to teaching in a medica! fla.
