The song talks about Poverty on how it affects the daily lives of people from their way of
life, nutrition, social interaction. It implies the negative effects of poverty to people’s lives
causing children to be malnourished, the people being mouthy to one another.

2. What do you think is the contemporary issue that reflects the song?
Poverty will always be an issue for corruption can not be extinguished. It is always present
because it is something that the law is trying to punish for the troubles it has caused. Poverty
has caused people to have a hard time finding jobs, hard time earning money to feed their
families.

3. How can you relate the song to the issues we are currently facing right now?
The song reminded me that no matter how beautiful a place gets, there will always be a
poor family somewhere. There will always be a family that will be having a hard time
providing for their families. Our family used to be like that, my mother would not eat to feed
my brother and sister, then my father would not eat so that my mother could eat.
