1 CURRICULUM BRAINSTORMING

Write a personal definition of curriculum. Explain the definition.

For me , The curriculum is the totality of the learning content of each lesson. Each student’s have

experiences within the school and the selected teaching materials. The curriculum serves as a way for

every student's dreams to be achieved. It also serves as a guide for teachers to be better and well in

their teaching to students. Curriculum is our path to succces and to achieved our dreams.

LESSSON 1: BRIEF REFLECTION

For me, upon the discussion of the definitions, types and the other aspects of curriculum, i might say

that it is very important to study. Because we all know that as a future educator curriculum is our way

to teach a student properly. Curriculum is our path and guide to succeed on what are we going to do

sooner in our professions.

ACTIVITY 1.2 PULSO NG BAYAN

I think the benefits of having an official curriculum prescribed in all school is to help students to learn

more. Curriculum can reflects culture and identity, it makes learning and teaching consistent, also open

the doors for collaboration. Possible pitfalls of having an official curriculum, i think the advantage of

having this is provides for the equality of educational opportunity for all students to assess the

knowledge for them and ensure the goals for educational success for the individuals. Curriculum focus

on developing the skills of the students also teachers. In dis-advantage, it less on professional freedom

of everyone. More on competitive basis ruther that the collaboration efforts. Lose of student-teacher

interactions and lose teachablemoments.
