Essay Writing Tips
Here are some tips for essay writing in the
CSS exam. Practice essay writing
according to the following techniques.
Brainstorm the ideasAsk the examiner for a second answer
booklet. On the last page of the booklet
write “Rough Work” on top and write down
all the things that come to your mind. Don’t
think about whether this idea is suitable or
not just write down all the things that
come to your mind inflow. Here we can
divide this step into the following subparts.
e Write down all the ideas.
e Eliminate all the non-related ideas.
e Arrange all the ideas in a sequence by
e¢ numbering them.
Make an outlineThe sequence you made in the last step is
now has become an outline of your essay.
Write down the sequenced ideas ina
proper way so that it looks like a proper
outline of the essay. Do not add an
unnecessarily detailed outline so that the
examiner finds it not worthy enough to
read it. The purpose of the outline is to
give the examiner an overview of the
points that he is going to read. Remember,
the outline provides the first impression of
your essay to the examiner. So don’t make
it extremely long and detailed.
Note: The length of the outline of your
essay should not be more than 2.5 pages.
The best practice is to make it 2 pages.
Include the examples in the outlineInclude the main examples that you are
going to use to justify your point in the
outline. This will show that you have a

topic.
Note: Don't use more than just 2 examples
to justify your argument otherwise it will
create a mess and possibility is that the
examiner finds it boring and loses his
interest.Write each new argument in a new
paragraph
Write each new argument in a new
paragraph and write only one argument in
a paragraph. Don’t bombard the examiner
with multiple arguments and ideas in a
single paragraph. There is no limit of
paragraphs in an essay so use this facility
as there are no bounds.
Write each paragraph as it is completely
an essay itself. The paragraph should be
started with a topic sentence describing
the main idea of the paragraph. Then it
should contain the lines elaborating
further the idea of that paragraph. And in
the last line, it should have a conclusion of
that paragraph. Try to use words like ‘
