(AGAR-AGAR) AND WATER AS AN ALL-NATURAL ALTERNATIVE

WATER BOTTLE

Statement of the Problem

This experimental study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of powdered

Eucheuma denticulatum (agar-agar) and water as an all-natural alternative water

bottle to further establish ideas in mitigating waste disposal problems in local

communities. The results of the study will be the basis for recommendation.

Specifically, this study aims to answer the following questions:

1. How can Eucheuma denticulatum counter the current material (plastic)

for water bottle production?

2. How can producing such material help mitigate the plastic waste

problem?

3. What are the respondents' common negative or positive experiences

with this conventional material?

4. How do respondents find the effectiveness of producing algae bottle in

mitigating waste disposal problems in their communities?

5. What other approaches can be established further in mitigating waste

disposal problems in communities?

Statement of Null Hypothesis

H₀: The utilization of powdered Eucheuma denticulatum (agar-agar) and water is

not effective as an all-natural alternative water bottle.

H₁: The utilization of powdered Eucheuma denticulatum (agar-agar) and water is

effective as an all-natural alternative water bottle.
