Writing:

If I could make teenagers change their mind about looking perfect, I would. But it`s
basically impossible, due to the use of social media. The social media algorithm is
designed to have people who fit the beauty standard at the top, so even if we are
looking for body positivity content, it is easier to the “perfect” people to come up. It`s
an idea that society has put in our heads since we were little, that we need to have
specific characteristics to be beautiful, and that it matters. When it doesn`t, and
most of the time people do not see the “flaws” that we see in ourselves.
We should not be pressured to be a certain way or judged by something we have
no control over.
