QRG Logging into 8X8 Work on Mac Devices

Introduction 4. Accept the download warning to complete the
installation
UST utilizes Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) to give
faculty and staff an efficient and secure phone solution.

Getting Started
The software to access the 8X8 application can be
downloaded and utilized on any device.
Installing 8X8
1. From your Mac, navigate to the link below and
click on the DMG icon

voice/work-desktop/download-8x8-work-for-
desktop
2. Drag the download to the applications folder.
3. Double click the icon
Logging into 8X8
Logging into the program will be the same for both
personal devices and UST managed devices.
1. On the login screen click the
bottom bar Use Single Sign On
2. You will be redirected to enter
your full UST email address

3. Confirm you want to “Log in
using SSO”
4. You will then be redirected to
the UST sign in page, again
enter your full email address
and click next.
5. Enter your computer login
password and click Sign-In
6. On the next screen you will
have an option to click Yes or
No. If you select Yes 8X8 Work application
will load and log you in each time you log
into your computer.
7. You will now be
directed to your
new “telephone”
screen.
