Virtue cultivation Reflection 4

Realistically, you can see people doing things they shouldn't when

something is prohibited or threatened. Despite these odds, an ounce of justice

must outweigh a thousand tons of malice. Aristotle said: And these are actually

leftovers. I think he wants us to recognize that it is our duty and privilege, as

accountants of the future, to reflect on what is in front of us and to be as

truthful as possible. As a business leader, he must inspire people to serve

society without endangering people or the environment.

Virtue cultivation plays a heavy role in developing aspiring and current

professionals' and business leaders' mental, emotional and moral strength.

Even in confusing times, our virtues will bridge our minds to the right course

of action. These will help us eliminate our vices and initiate personal and

professional growth. With wisdom and values, I strive to be a professional

accountant and a business leader that the aspiring professional version of

myself could be proud of.
