WELL TESTING PROCEDURES LOGGING, BOTTOM HOLE SAHPLING THE DEEP THE DEEP KOVER FLUID PRESSURE RECORDING, PRODUCTION = 100 ~ 721: GENERAL NOTE 1. The rig up equipment must include a hydraulic riser gate valve capable of shearing the wireline cable and a hydraulic controlled BoP. 2. Automatic master valve and DHSV should always be disconnected from the Main Baker Safety Control Panel and connected to an auxiliary operating system. 3. A fusible cap is fitted to the automatic master valve actuator to close the valve in event of fires 4. When the DHSV is in place a fusible cap should be fitted on the DHSV control line to close the valve in case of fire. If the DHSV has been removed the fusible cap should not be installed on the DHSV control line: Whenever the DHSV or the separation sleeve is not installed in the DHSV nipple, pump hydraulic oil at a slow rate through the 1/4" control line: 5. BOP should always be pressure tested, with rams closed, before each job. 6. The wireline lubricator assembly = should be hydraulically tested on each wireline trip or every time a connection is broken. The test pressure should be the maximum expected STHP + 1000 psi but not exceeding the X-mas tree working pressure: 7. Always run the largest available gauge cutter prior to run any wireline tool in the hole. - 101 ~ 8. Whenever request to leave close all the X-mas tree master valve and the Di ve 9. SETTING AND TESTING CAMCO "Ht = 104 LOCK WITH “A" BLANKING PLUG IN LANDING NIPPLE "wp-1" This procedure should be followed to secure a live well for example, with a risk of intersection with a drilling well, 1. If the wellhead pressure is higher than 2000 psi reduce the pressure as follow: ja. Rig up cement pump to service wing valve on production tree if not done previously. Pressure test lines to 5000 psi for 15 minutes. 1b. Pump diesel or inhibited sea water down the tubing bleeding gas until the surface pressure reaches + 2000 psi. 2. Allow all gas above the plug to migrate to the surface and bleed pressure to zero, Observe the well in a stabilized condition for one hour. This will insure testing the plug from below. ell must be stable before continuing with next step: SLE before continuing with next step: Tate - 105 - SETTING AND TESTING BAKER “FWG-21" BLANKING PLUG IN SEATING NIPPLE BAKER "F"; This procedure should be followed to secure the well in case of workover or in case of tubing leakage with hydrocarbon annulus pressure. 1. If the well head pressure is higher than 2000 psi reduce the pressure as follow: ja. Rig up cement pump to service wing valve on production tree if not done previously. Pressure test lines to 5000 psi for 15 minutes. ib. Pump diesel or inhibited sea water down the tubing bleeding gas until the surface pressure reaches + 2000 psi. 2. Run and set FWG-21 blanking plug in F 2.56" Baker seating nipple, according to the Baker procedure; 5. Bleed pressure to zero. 6. Allow all gas above the plug to migrate to the surface. Observe the well in a stabilized condition for one hour. This will insure testing the plug fron below. Mell must be stable before continuing step - 106 = If_the plug is set for well killing Fill tubing with treated brine and test plug from above with 1500 psi for 15 minutes. Bleed off the tubing pressure to zero. Observe the well in a stabilized condition for one hour. = 107 - SETTING AND TESTING CAMCO "A2" MODIFIED BLANKING PLUG IN DHSV NIPPLE AND BPV IN THE TUBING HANGER WITH THE DEEP PLUG NOT INSTALLED: This procedure should be followed in case of workover if the deep plug (FWG-21 or A2) cannot be set and workover fluid of sufficient density, to control the formation, is already in the well and SSD is open or tubing punched. 1. Rig up wireline lubricator on X-mas tree and Pressure test same to 4000 psi for 15 minutes: 2. RIH with Camco "modified A2 blanking plug" and set Same according to Cameo procedure in the DHSV nipple. 3. Test plug from above to 2000 psi with annulus open and observe for any possible return, If formation can withstand test pressure, pressure up annulus very slowly at 200 psi intervals, monitoring for 5 minutes at each interval, to a maximum of 1000 psi for 15 minutes. This will insure a test on the plug from bel 5. Set BPV in the tubi: % hanger. 6. Pump through the BPV until a pressure of 2000 psi is reached: Bleed off pressure above BPV and monitor pressure on the control line. Hold the pressure for 15 minutes. 7. If the BPV is holding pressure from below, equalize pressure across the BPVY, then depress ball valve and bleed off all pressure above plug. — 108 - SETTING AND TESTING CAMCO "A2" MODIFIED BLANKING PLUG IN DHSV NIPPLE AND BPV IN THE TUBING HANGER WITH THE DEEP PLUG INSTALLED: The well is secured with a tested deep plug and workover fluid of sufficient density to control the well: The SSD open or tubing punched 1. Rig up the wireline lubricator with the blanking plug or the DHSV. Pressure test as per general note: 2. RIH and set plug or DHSV in the DHSV nipple: 3. Pressure test the plug or DHSV from below to 2000 psi, appling pressure in the annulus through the open circulating valve or through the punched tubing for 15 minutes: 4; Bleed off pressure to zero and test plug from above to 2000 psi for 15 minutes. NOTE: If DHSV is used it cannot be tested from above. 5: Set BPV in the tubing hanger: = 109 ~ OPEN SSD OR PUNCH TBG TO CIRCULATE WORKOVER FLUID ESTABLISHING FLUID BARRIER: The well is secured with a tested deep plug and the tubing string is full of fluid. 1, Rig up wireline lubricator with shifting tool to open the SSD. Pressure test lubricator at 4000 psi. RIH and open the SSD, apply sufficient. pressure on the tubing when opening to obtain an indication of tubing to annulus communication taking into account the differential pressure across the sleeve. If unable to open SSD, rig up Schlumberger with tubing puncher, 2 feet’ gun, 2 shoot per foot, 0° phasing and charges color coded according to weight of tubing. RIH and perforate tbg at designated depth provided in individual well procedure: Apply sufficient pressure on the tubing when perforating’ to obtain an indication of tubing to annulus communication: Observe “perforating safety procedure" as stated in paragraph 6.5. 3. Hook up pump to the annulus valve and displace the fluid in the hole with workover fluid as per individual well program. Maximum pumping pressure is not to exceed 2000 psi: Dump old fluid (if necessary) and circulate until weifht going in equals weight coming outs Make sure no hydrocarbons are dumped into the sea. NOTE: - 110 - If communication is suspected to exist high in the well, pump around a dye solution to establish circulation point and plug off the communication to enable deep circulation or run coil tubing at bottom and circulate: = ai. — WELL TESTING PROCEDURE: PRESSURE RECORDING, PRODUCTION LOGGING, BOTTOM HOLE SAMPLING: This procedure will apply with permanent completion installed. The production test program (flowing and shut in time period, sampling, production logging...) will be given in the individual well testing program. if the production. testis the. first. one.. after completio: All annuli valves of the well (13°/a"- 9°/a", 95a 7, 7a) mow teu el eleiteeed wih bateuncted pressure gauges. 7-3 7/2" annulus pressure must be recorded with pressure recorder. Rig up cement pump to service wing valve on production tree and 3°/2- 7" snindivs vanve (4f not done previusly). Pressure test line to 5000 psi for 15 minutes.
