Types of Cooling Tower

Application of Cooling Tower: Narrowed down to vacuum fryer

Instead of disposing the effluent water from the vacuum fryer and operate using
purchased water supplies, it will be more cost-efficient to treat the effluent water and
recirculate it back to the vacuum fryer. Since the major concern is the waste heat in the
effluent water, the treatment can be done through cooling. This study will optimize and
fabricate a pre-designed model of packed cooling tower and determine its operational
efficiency in terms of cost compared to operating using purchased water supplies.
