SONGS
I'm Rejoicing

I’m rejoicing night and day

As I walk the pilgrim way
For the hand of God in all my life I see,
And the reason of my bliss,
Yes, the secret all is this:
That the love of God abides in me
He abides He abides..............
Hallelujah, He abides in me,
I’m rejoicing night and day,
As I walk the narrow way,
For the love of God abides in me.
There’s no thirsting for the things
Of the world they ‘ve taken wings:
Long ago I gave them up and instantly
All my night was turned to day,
All my burdens rolled away,
Now the love of God abides in me.

NUMEROUS STRINGS
There are numerous strings in your lute, let me add my
own among them.
1 Then when you smite your chords,
my heart will break its silence
and my heart will be one with your songs.
2 Amidst your numberless stars
let me place my own little lamp.
3 In the dance of your festival of lights
my heart will be one with your smile.

MAKE ME A CHANNEL
OF YOUR PEACE
1 Make me a channel of your peace
Where there is hatred, let me bring your love
Where there is injury, your pardon, Lord
And where there’s doubt, true faith in you.
O master, grant that I may never seek
So much to be consoled as to console
To be understood as to understand
To be loved as to love with all my soul.
Make me a channel of your peace
Where there’s despair in life let me bring hope
Where there is darkness only light
And where there's sadness ever joy.

ALWAYS I WILL SING
Always I will sing of the glory of the Lord,
Always I will sing the glory of the Lord, always .
1 Praise Him, Praise Him, great are His mighty deeds,
Love Him, Love Him, He is ever merciful.
Praise Him, Praise Him, great are His mighty deeds,
Sing of the glory of the Lord, always.
2 Thank Him , thank Him, wonders he has done, Love
Him, love Him, for He loved us to the end.
3 Name Him, name Him, King of the Universe.
Love Him, love Him, for he is the God of Love.

THANK YOU
Thank you, O Lord your love is boundless.
Thank you, your presence is our peace.
Thank you, O Lord for so much goodness.
Thank you, your mercies never cease.
1 Thank you, you free the broken-hearted
Thank you for calming all our fears.
Thank you for bringing us forgiveness.
Thank you for binding up our wounds.
2 Thank you for giving us this moment.
Thank you for every joy we share.
Thank you for all our friends and neighbours.
Thank you for those who love and care.

30
THIS WORLD YOU HAVE MADE
This world you have made is a beautiful place;
It tells the power of your love.
We rejoice in the beauty of your world,
from the seas to the heavens above.
1 The morning whispers of purity;
The evening of your peace.
The thunder booms your exuberance
in the awesome power you release.
2 The tenderness of a new born child,
The gentleness of the rain,
Simplicity in a single cell,
and complexity in a rain.
3 Your’s tillness rests in a silent pool,
Infinity drifts in space,
Your grandeur straddles the mountain tops,
and we, see your face in each face.

TO OUR LADY OF THE WAY

1 No one can live as an island,
Journeying through life alone,
Since We’re most loved by a mother,
Jesus gave us his own.
Be with us mary, along the way,
Guide every step we take.
Lead us to Jesus, Your loving son.
Come with us, mary, come.

31
2 Help, us O star of the Ocean,
Be with us in our strife.
When we are faced with temptation,
Tossed by the storms of life.

GIVE ME OIL IN MY LAMP

Give me oil in my lamp
Keep me burning
Give me oil in my lamp I pray
Give me oil in my lamp
Keep me burning till the break of day
Sing Hosanna, Sing Hosanna
Sing Hosanna to the King of Kings
Sing Hosanna, sing Hosanna
Sing Hosanna to the King.
Give me love in my heart, Keep me serving.
Give me Faith in my heart, Keep me trusting

SHOWERS OF BLESSING
There shall be showers of blessing
This is the promise of love
There shall be seasons refreshing
Sent from the Saviour above

32
Ch: Showers of blessing
Showers of blessing we need
Mercy drops round us are falling
But for the showers we plead
There shall be showers of blessing
Send them upon us, O Lord,
Grant to us now a refreshing
Come and now honour Thy Word.

HAVE THINE OWN WAY, LORD

1 Have Thine own way, Lord
Have Thine own way!
Thou art the Potter,
I am the clay
Mould me and make me
After thy will
While I am waiting
Yielded and still
2 Have Thine own way, Lord!
Have Thine own way!
Search me and try me,
Master today,
Whiter than snow , Lord,
Wash me just now,
As in Thy presence,
Humbly I bow,

33
3 Have Thine own way, Lord!
Have Thine own way!
Hold o’er my being
Absolute sway!
Fill with Thy spirit
Till all shall see Christ only always,
Living in me!

THE LITTLE GUIDING LIGHT

This little guiding light of mine,
I am going to let it shine,
Let it shine all the time, let it shine.
1 Hide it under a bushel oh, no,
I am going to let it shine
2 Make my little lamp burn for Thee
I am going to let it shine.
